Mission Statement
Golf 360 is a company that enables girls (18 and under) to embrace the sport of golf, develop life skills and build a community that strives to grow the popularity of golf among girls & women. In short, “Golf for girls, girls for Golf”.
About
Golf is a metaphor for life. It teaches people how to overcome moments of adversity and to solve problems while simultaneously teaching them social skills and how to be independent. It strengthens every aspect of a person; their physical, mental and emotional self, which is why it is important to share this sport.
For a very long time, the only people who were able to play golf were the upper-class men, and it has been that way for most of the sport’s life. Recently, more girls have started to pick up the sport, but there remains a drastic difference between the number of girls who play golf in comparison to boys; on a junior, adult and professional level. In 2017, there were a total of 11,116 nationally ranked golfers through Junior Golf Scoreboard in the United States. However, 8,055 (72%) golfers were boys, and only 3,061 (28%) were girls; a 4,994 player difference (juniorgolfscoreboard), or almost 2.5 times boys, despite the fact that women are majority of the US population!
As a junior female golfer, I have experienced what it is like to be in the minority. I have played multiple sports at various competitive levels, including varsity basketball and junior varsity volleyball. Although I love them, no sport has come close to the holistic experience of playing golf; the challenges on a mental and physical level, the relationships that are formed and the life lessons that are taught. I have always been an advocate for women empowerment, especially through sports, and I would love to share the positive impact golf had on me with other girls. That was the inspiration to start Golf 360. A company that shares the entire experience of golf, specifically for girls.
Throughout my golf career so far, I have realized that there are 3 primary obstacles that prevent golf from being a popular sport, and must be addressed. Those obstacles are cost, accessibility, and the common perception of the sport (refer to our "three pillars" page for more info). Golf 360 strives to address these areas and to pose stepping stone solutions that will move us in the right direction! Join us on our journey to sharing the sport that we all love so dearly!

Her years since have been filled with countless fun hours dedicated to lessons, practice, competition and reflection for this wonderful sport. This is a sport that should have the opportunity to be loved and played by as many people as possible!
